Solartale Helps CGN's "Egret Workshop" in Senegal CGN Certified Talent Development Program

Oct 2025, the opening ceremony of the China-Senegal Green Energy Talent Training Program and the CGN Senegal "Egret Workshop" was held in Mbur, Senegal.

Dr. Chen from Wuxi Solartale PV Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Solartale") attended the event as a special guest, witnessing this important moment

inpromoting green energy development and cultivating technical talent with representatives from the Chinese and Senegalese governments, industries, enterprises,

and education sectors.

Senegal's national power company (Senelec‍) In his address, Omar Engem, Deputy Manager of the Power Generation Department, stated that Senegal plans to increased

the proportion of renewable energy to 40% by 2030. Senelec   will play a core role in the modernization of the power system and the integration of renewable energy.

He emphasized that the China-Senegal green energy talent training programis highly aligned with Senegal's energy transition strategy, and that he is willing to work with

partners, including CGN, to cultivate local talent and build a sustainable and resilient power system.

Li Jingbo, deputy director of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education of China, pointed out via videothat China has accumulated

rich experience in renewable energy development and vocational education, and that vocational schools and enterprises "Going global as a group" has become a

new model for promoting international talent cultivation. She expressed her willingness to further strengthen cooperation with Senegal in the field of energy and power

education, and jointly build a platform for talent cultivation and exchange between China and Senegal.

As a company with profound technical expertise and project experience in the photovoltaic field, Solartale has always focused on global energy transition and green

talent development. Dr. Chen represented the company in this event. The "Egret Workshop" project demonstrates the company's proactive approach to promoting

CGN's Maricunda photovoltaic project in Senegal has become a benchmark for new energy development in West Africa. Currently, CGN is actively promoting the

expansion and construction of local photovoltaic projects and continuously strengthening local procurement, job creation, and skills training. The launch of the

"Egret Workshop" is a vivid example of Chinese enterprises fulfilling their social responsibilities and promoting localized talent development in Africa.

At the ceremony, Chinese Embassy in Senegal‍ Cultural Counselor Zhu Xi, representatives from the Senegalese National Office for Vocational Education, and

representatives from Senegalese Electricity Company, jointly unveiled the plaque for the CGN Africa Energy Company's Senegalese Training and Education

Base.The "Egret Workshop" will conduct a series of courses on green energy skills training in the future, aiming to alleviate Senegal's power shortage, promote

the upgrading of the energy industry and youth employment, and further promote in-depth exchanges between China and Senegal in the fields of energy and culture.
